A Psalm by Asaph.
God presides in the divine assembly. Hᴇ judges among the gods. “How long will y’all judge unjustly, and show partiality to the wicked?” Selah.“Y’all are to defend the weak and the fatherless. Y’all are to maintain justice for the poor and the destitute. Y’all are to rescue the weak and those in need. Y’all are to deliver them from hand of the wicked.”
They don’t know or understand. They wander around in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken. I said, “Y’all are gods, all y’all are sons of the Most High. Nevertheless y’all will die like humans, and y’all will fall like one of the rulers.”
Rise up, God, judge the earth, for you inherit all of the nations.
