Psalm 135 1Y’all praise Y’H! Praise the name of YHWH! Praise ʜɪᴍ, you servants of YHWH, 2you who stand in YHWH’s house, in the courts of our God’s house. 3Y’all praise Y’H, for YHWH is good. Y’all sing praises to ʜɪꜱ name, for that is pleasant. 4For Y’H has chosen Jacob for ʜɪᴍꜱᴇʟꜰ, Israel for ʜɪꜱ own possession. 5For I know that YHWH is great, that our Lord is greater than all gods. 6YHWH does whatever ʜᴇ pleases, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps. 7Hᴇ causes the clouds to rise from the ends of the earth. Hᴇ makes lightnings with the rain. Hᴇ brings the wind out of ʜɪꜱ treasuries. 8Hᴇ struck the firstborn of Egypt, both of humankind and animals. 9Hᴇ sent signs and wonders into the middle of you, Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his servants. 10Hᴇ struck many nations, and killed mighty kings— 11Sihon king of the Amorites, Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan— 12and gave their land for a heritage, a heritage to Israel, ʜɪꜱ people. 13Your name, YHWH, endures forever; your renown, YHWH, throughout all generations. 14For YHWH will judge ʜɪꜱ people and have compassion on ʜɪꜱ servants.

 

15The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of human hands. 16They have mouths, but they can’t speak. They have eyes, but they can’t see. 17They have ears, but they can’t hear, neither is there any breath in their mouths. 18Those who make them will be like them, as will everyone who trusts in them.

 

19House of Israel, y’all are to praise YHWH! House of Aaron, y’all are to praise YHWH! 20House of Levi, y’all are to praise YHWH! You who fear YHWH, y’all are to praise YHWH! 21Blessed be YHWH from Zion, who dwells in Jerusalem. Y’all praise Y’H!
