Psalm 11
For the music director. By David.
1In YHWH, I take refuge.
How can y’all say to my soul,
“Y’all should flee like a bird to a mountain”?
2For look, the wicked bend their bows.
They set their arrows on the strings,
that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
3If the foundations are destroyed,
what can the righteous do?
4YHWH is in ʜɪꜱ holy temple.
YHWH is on ʜɪꜱ throne in heaven.
Hɪꜱ eyes observe.
Hɪꜱ eyelids squint to examine the children of humankind.
5YHWH examines the righteous,
but ʜɪꜱ soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.
6On the wicked ʜᴇ will rain burning coals and brimstone,.
a scorching wind will be the portion in their cup.
7For YHWH is righteous.
Hᴇ loves righteousness.
The upright will see ʜɪꜱ face.
