“The departed spirits tremble, those beneath the waters and all that live in them. Sheol+26:6 Sheol is the place of the dead. is naked before God, and Abaddon+26:6 Abaddon means Destroyer. has no covering. Hᴇ stretches out the northern skies over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing. Hᴇ wraps up the waters in ʜɪꜱ thick clouds, and the cloud does not burst under them. Hᴇ encloses the face of ʜɪꜱ throne, and spreads ʜɪꜱ cloud on it. Hᴇ has drawn a boundary on the surface of the waters, and to the confines of light and darkness. The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at ʜɪꜱ rebuke. He stirs up the sea with his power, and by ʜɪꜱ understanding ʜᴇ strikes through Rahab. By ʜɪꜱ Spirit the heavens are garnished. Hɪꜱ hand has pierced the swift serpent. Indeed, these are but the outskirts of his ways. How small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”
