The Mystery of the Gospel

Ephesians 3

For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of y’all ethnic groups— if indeed y’all have heard of the administration of the grace of God that was given to me for y’all, that the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I wrote before in brief. By reading this, y’all will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which in other generations was not made known to the children of humans, as it has now been unveiled to his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit, that the ethnic groups are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of ʜɪꜱ promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. I was made a deacon according to the gift of God’s grace which was given to me according to the working of ʜɪꜱ power. This grace was given to me, the very least of all saints, to announce the unsearchable riches of Christ to the ethnic groups, and to enlighten everyone to the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things. Hɪꜱ intent was that now through the church the manifold wisdom of God might be made known to the principalities and the powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which ʜᴇ accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In him we have boldness and confidence to approach God through our faith in him. Therefore I ask y’all not to lose heart at my oppressions for y’all, which are your* glory.

A Triune Prayer

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named. I pray that ʜᴇ would grant y’all, according to the riches of ʜɪꜱ glory, to be strengthened with power through ʜɪꜱ Spirit in your inner being, and that Christ may dwell in y’all’s hearts through faith, so that, being rooted and grounded in love, y’all may be enabled, together with all the saints, to comprehend the width and length and height and depth of Christ’s love and to know that it surpasses knowledge, so that y’all may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to ʜɪᴍ who is able to do superabundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to ʜɪᴍ be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
