Maturing in One’s Calling
Hɪꜱ divine power has granted to us everything for life and godliness, through the knowledge of ʜɪᴍ who called us by ʜɪꜱ own glory and virtue. y’all may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption of the world caused by evil desire. Through these things ʜᴇ has granted to us ʜɪꜱ precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them y’all ought to work diligently to add to y’all’s faith virtue, and in virtue, knowledge, For this very reason, and in knowledge, self-control, and in self-control, perseverance, and in perseverance, godliness, and in godliness, mutual affection, and in mutual affection, love. y’alls have these qualities and they are continually increasing, they prevent y’all from being ineffective or unproductive in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For if For the one who lacks these things is blind and short-sighted, having forgotten the cleansing from their past sins. y’all must make every effort to confirm y’all’s calling and election. Recalling What God has Revealed
y’all of these things, even though y’all know them and are established in the truth that y’all have.
